Citations

Citation is jotting down the names and references to the text that you have used in your paper. Giving credit to someone else?s work that you collected from different sources is not only generous but a rule that should be adhered to. If you excerpt text that includes not only quotes but also any fact or information from another area, you should mention the author, the medium from which you extracted the data and the address or source through which anyone can get the information you have used.  If you do not cite you can be accused of plagiarism and you cannot afford that at the periphery of your educational career.

There are different methods to cite a particular source. Different writing styles offer slightly different methods to put in the information. It depends on the approach that you have chosen to write your paper that will determine the citation style.
