 Structural Issues

 While structuring your text you might face some issues that are worth considering and taking notice of. Before composing it will always help if you create a pattern on which your paper will be followed and your text analyzed.

“The exact structures in the chapters vary among thesis. E.g.

§         In some thesis, it is necessary to establish some theory, to describe the experimental techniques, then to report what was done on several different problems or different stages of the problem, and then finally to present a model or a new theory based on the new work. “For such a thesis, the chapter headings might be: Theory, Materials and Methods, {first problem}, {second problem}, {third problem}, {proposed theory/model} and then the conclusion chapter”. (Thesis).

§         For other theses, it might be appropriate to discuss different techniques in different chapters, rather than to have a single Materials and Methods chapter.

The structural issues to be considered while writing the formatted paper:

§         Assemble as much information as you can before you begin writing.

§         Do not neglect important evidence or arguments that might challenge your conclusion into a question. At the same time do not spend so much time on other peoples arguments for it is your argument that the reader will be interested in.

§         Analyze, do not just narrate in happenings, the purpose of your paper is to analyze the text in a series of events or a set of data.

§         Write several drafts of your paper, and read each one carefully. It will help improve the next one.
