Data
A compilation of standard ideas, facts, figures, pictures, sounds, any type of text or any other type of informative material that can be used to communicate, interpret, process and draw conclusions is known as data. It is a plural used for the word datum that means a single piece of information.
Database
Data base is a huge collection of data in a
readable format such as stored in a computer. A database may contain several
different types of data and is programmed in such a way that it can reply to
queries that are typed in and come up with related information.
